Acoustic Consultant

My client is an esteemed acoustic consultancy that specialises in sustainable architecture. They are renowned for managing a wide range of projects in the education, residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. Their services include comprehensive offerings such as modelling, design, assessments, testing, and the development of ventilation and facade optimization products.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have a BSc and/or MSc in acoustics or a related discipline and be a member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • A robust technical background in architectural and environmental acoustics is essential.
  • Must possess a valid UK driver's licence.
  • Proficiency in various software packages, including ODEON, INSUL, Soundplan, and CaDnaA, is required.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand project requirements.
  • On-site work may be necessary and providing support to junior/graduate level staff when required.
  • Prepare and finalise technical reports as per project needs.
  • Utilise project management skills to ensure a smooth process throughout the deliverables' life cycle.
