Job Advert Role Description

As our Activities Coordinator you will look to create, plan, lead and organise an interesting and varied program of daily activities, entertainment and events, enriching the lives of the residents. Duties may include:

-Liaise with external companies to organise entertainment
-Listening to the residents to aid producing a popular program of events/activities/entertainment
-Work alongside care staff, coordinating hairdressing/chiropody visits etc.

-Organise raffles & fund raising events for the residents/home.

We are looking for a bright, outgoing, creative person.  The ideal person will be organised and have some experience working with in the care sector, therefore being able to understand the needs of residents aiding activity choices. No experience as activates co-ordinator is required but a positive, enthusiastic attitude is a must.
