Job Title: Packaging Artworker/Adaptive Operator

Location: Bradford - Hybrid

Salary: Dependent On Experience

The brand creation and implementation agency that bring clients brighter creative thinking that cuts through the chaos. Now looking for a new addition to their team they're searching for a Packaging Artworker/Adaptive Operator.

Purpose of a Packaging Artworker/Adaptive Operator:

Contribute to the overall performance of the Packaging team through the delivery of high quality, accurate and commercially focused packaging artwork for a wide range of print-based projects for both Retailers and Brands.

Contribute to the Adaptive function, always demonstrating best practice with the creation of design concepts, intent and adaptive files.

Key responsibilities of a Packaging Artworker/Adaptive Operator:

  • Be flexible, in line with the demands placed on the business, to ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery to clients in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the technical aspects of Packaging and the various printing processes (Litho, Flexo, Gravure) when producing final packaging artwork for print, ensuring all client requirements are met.
  • Generate repro-ready, error-free artwork in accordance with internal packaging guidelines (SOPs) whilst respecting brand guidelines.
  • Create design concepts, adaptive artworks always using best practice
  • Support with the creation and maintenance of artwork/design guidelines, cheat sheets, masters and assets for all packaging accounts, in collaboration with the ADM and Creative Account Manager (CAM).
  • Provide assistance with range reviews on version 1 artworks when required
  • Ensure all job data is filed in the correct place and follows the client's correct naming convention.
  • Keep your line manager updated with your job statuses, including if any are at risk of running late.
  • Carry out self-checks on all work produced.
  • Ensure completed artworks are sent to QC for checking as per the department's SOPs.
  • Accurately record all time entries for production work undertaken in company timesheet system.
  • Change consumables and carry out calibration and maintenance of studio machinery as and when it is required.
  • Always be commercially aware.
  • Support the business in other areas as may be required from time to time.
  • Help promote a quality culture, and performance improvement, throughout the business.
  • Positively contribute towards meeting the company's Social, Quality & Environmental Objectives.
  • Adhere to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Observe our Company Values and positively promote these within your daily activities.

Requirements for a Packaging Artworker/Adaptive Operator:

  • Minimum of 5 years packaging artwork/adaptive experience working on both retail or brands
