The Role

We are looking for an experienced Admin Bridge Consultant to join this company's Automation and Efficiencies Department Pensions Implementation team. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality implementation service for new clients, as well as efficiency projects for existing clients. You will bridge the gap between the implementation and administration teams. You will monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and drive a culture of agility and learning. You will host meetings to get updates on the progress of projects, address potential roadblocks and ensure projects are on track. You will ensure the team is meeting deadlines with the desired outcome. You will promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions. You will retain high-level knowledge of legislation and system functionality within the pension areas.

Key Responsibilities of the Admin Bridge Consultant:

  • Work within a team of pension and implementation consultants to deliver a high-quality implementation service for new Buck clients and efficiency projects for existing clients.
  • Bridge the gap between the implementation and administration teams.
  • Adhere to team standards, using best practices, project assurance criteria and audit requirements.
  • For new schemes being onboarded ensure the administration team have all the tools required to be ready at go live to administer the scheme in the most efficient and member-oriented way.
  • Work closely with transition consultants and administrators to ensure onboarding and automation projects progresses seamlessly through to completion.

Required knowledge and experience for the Admin Bridge Consultant role:

  • Good pension experience with good technical knowledge and administration background.
  • Understanding of pension scheme rules and actuarial instructions.
  • Experience of pension systems and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work productively as a team member, experience of working in a project/admin team and working under instruction.
