Administration Assistant - The Wilf Ward Family Trust

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £12.05 per hour

We believe in community, compassion, and creativity - and we're looking for someone who shares these values to join us as our new Administration Assistant.

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our charity. Some duties include (please see attached Job Description for more detail):

  • Provide general administrative support, including managing phone calls and emails.

  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence when required.

  • Order and maintain stationery supplies within The Trust.

  • Update the Regional Archiving Databases and ensuring that information is accurately recorded, and that information is stored in line with GDPR compliance.

  • Arrange safe removal of shredding using approved nominated supplier and update databases, along with labelling and boxing if required.

  • Support the Head of Digital and Technology in the development and delivery of the Trusts digital, data and technology strategy, particularly in relation to a move to digital records.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5 GCSEs at level A-C, or 9-4 (must include Maths and English)

  • Previous experience of working in an administration role with data management, and entry input is desirable

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • A compassionate and empathetic attitude, aligned with the values of our charity

Due to the nature of the role a Full UK Driving Licence is essential. Our head office is located in Pickering with a number of regional office bases across Yorkshire where you can work from (including Ripon, Scarborough & Beverley).
