Job Title: Administration Manager (Client Service Manager)

Location: Office-based, Wakefield
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Discretionary Bonus Scheme

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Administration Manager (Client Service Manager) to join the reputable Financial Planning company managing a large team of administrators alongside the leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of administration expertise and management experience to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for managing the office operations.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex cases involving investments for trusts, SIPPs, VCTs, and EIS. You’ll need to bring both your technical know-how and leadership capabilities to support the team and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on leadership of the Administration team.
  • Oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the administration teams, ensuring smooth workflows and high service standards.
  • Handle complex cases such as investments for trusts, SIPPs, VCTs, and EIS.
  • Conduct one-to-one, appraisals, and provide ongoing training to develop team members.
  • Take over office management duties, including opening/closing the office
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive departmental objectives.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and workflow management.

About You:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Financial Services Administration leadership/management role,
  • Strong technical knowledge across complex cases involving financial products like trusts, SIPPs, VCTs, and EIS.
  • Experience using Intelligent Office is highly desirable.
  • Proven management experience with the ability to lead a team and implement performance management processes.
  • Hands-on leadership style, with an ability to inspire and motivate your team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership and across teams.
  • Experience in workflow management and staff development.
