Administration - Client File Reviewer

  • Location: Blackpool (FY4 just off the motorway)
  • Job Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week 8.30 – 5pm 1 hour lunch break
  • Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

We are seeking diligent Client File Reviewer to join a Client Due Diligence team to cover on a fixed term 6 month contract basis to help and assist a highly successful financial services company based in Blackpool. The global business operates with multiple offices across the UK & Europe and has been established for over 60 years.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client and the AML risk they pose to the business. This position reports to the CDD Monitoring Manager and does not have direct reports.

Day to day of the role:

  • Re-risk the client relationship using the AML risk rating tool.
  • Focus on the review of client files.
  • Undertake a CDD completeness check/data gap analysis to ensure CDD is appropriate, complete, and up to date, including SOW/SOF information.
  • Collect missing information and chase any requested information by communicating with clients and Executives.
  • Review account activity to ensure it aligns with expectations.
  • Document account structure accurately and ensure all parties are included in the overnight screening.
  • Undertake technical or other relevant training as required.
  • Record relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to develop knowledge and skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good standard of education.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent knowledge of internal procedures and processes (to be developed in the role).
  • Good working knowledge of the Avaloq system (to be developed in the role).
  • Excellent understanding of Compliance and awareness of regulations (to be developed in the role).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Must meet the FCA Conduct Rules, demonstrating integrity, skill, care, diligence, and proper market conduct.
