Administrative Assistant - Full or Part Time
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join a well established accountancy practice in the Southend area.
Our client are looking for someone who has the following:
- A high level of experience with Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to problem solve and implement change
- Data entry skills & Administrative experience
- General office skills
As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for supporting and providing day-to-day efficient clerical services to the team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
As an Administrative Assistant your duties will include:
- Liaising with clients to gather information and ensuring the correct setup within the existing systems
- Creating, implementing and updating spreadsheets and systems (Advanced Excel skills required)
- Client database management
- Communicating and coordinating effectively with various departments
- Maintaining Company Statutory Registers (experience not necessary, training to be provided)
- Complying with Company Statutory filing obligations (experience not necessary, training to be provided)
- Answering of calls and cover reception
- Carrying out other ad hoc admin duties
Please note that all candidates must be prepared to undertake a 30 minute computer based assessment.
If you don’t possess some or all of these requirements, full training will be given.
