Reed Business Support in Cambridge are working with an innovative company who are going through a growth period.  They are looking for an Administrative Co-ordinator working closely with both the Field and Continuous teams to deliver the smooth execution of research projects.

Working across two different teams you will be required to be flexible in your approach and respond to the ever-changing business needs. The role will require you to have good clear communication both internally and externally with clients.

The role covers the management, storage, packing and despatch of all products and the recording and internal processing of all associated quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the day to day receipt, storage and despatch of all products associated with testing.
  • To be responsible for the Packing area, ensuring that all fridges and freezers are in good working order and monitored regularly to ensure they are adequate for the company’s needs.
  • To be the first point of contact with designated couriers and to monitor progress of all deliveries and collections.
  • To forward plan the receipt and storage of products from suppliers in accordance with given instructions, ensuring that appropriate storage space has been made available and that sufficient time has been allocated for any re-labelling or pack splitting required. 
  • To maintain appropriate hygiene standards at all times, handling food products within Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Support Retail / Continuous Team with full administration of testing programmes ensuring all agreed deadlines are achieved.
  • Aid Research Execs with any project related tasks as business requires.

  • Confidence and ability to make decisions.
  • Precision and methodical approach to all tasks with great attention to detail.
  • Can prioritise tasks according to business needs, and plan accordingly. Able to work on your own frequently.
  • Can cope with changing priorities and keeping others informed of possible issues.
  • Can plan and execute multiple projects at one time and to a high standard.
  • Communicate and explains clearly, professionally and concisely.
  • Maintains open and honest relationships with colleagues and community members, building trust and confidence.
  • Challenges the norms and typical approaches to consider how tasks can be approached differently and flexibly with creative thinking. Contributes to improving processes in day-to-day activities by looking for most efficient and effective ways of doing things.
  • Use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint – is a competent user of each of these packages.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude
