Contract Type: Fixed Term - 9-12 Months

Salary: £22-£24K + Benefits

Full Time - 37.5hrs per week

Location: Colchester, Essex

The Job Role:

  • This is a 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract where you will provide full support and switchboard cover to meet the needs of clients and colleagues across the organisation.
  • Maintain and update where necessary, all databases and software and ensure compliance is upheld with correct policies & Procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues throughout the organisation, whilst continuing with the high standards of service
  • Manage inboxes, review and take action, book meeting rooms, diary management and taking minutes where needed
  • Provide admin support for the preparation of tenders, reports & Reviews
  • Support with switchboard and ensure smooth transfer of On Call Services
  • Maintaining confidential records, printing, invoice approvals, GDPR/Data Protection and some social media Posting

The ideal person:

  • Significant related experience in a similar
  • Good standard of education (to GCSE Level) including Maths and English or equivalent qualifications/experience
  • Fully computer literate, excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Ideally a car driver with access to own vehicle as there will be opportunities to visit other services
  • Ability to work to deadlines, tackle tasks efficiently and accurately and use own initiative - not wait for work to be given to you, spot administration duties and resolve by action
  • Friendly, bubbly personality whilst maintaining professionalism at all times
