Excellent opportunity to join this well-established business to support the procurement officer. The role would suit someone looking for their next step, full training will be given. You must be flexible, proactive and willing to learn.
As an Administrator your duties will include:
- Warehouse stock assessment and regular liaising with stock control to maintain stock levels
- Identify slowing moving stock
- Review of rolling and scheduled purchase orders to manage risk and stock levels.
- Process purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Converting all purchase requisitions/instructions to purchase orders.
- Schedule order status and provide progress reports.
- Manage supplier returns and process compliance ensuring all warranty defect goods are returned, replaced or re-ordered.
- Ensure relevant credit notes are received and liaise with the finance team.
- Organise collection of goods that are urgently required.
- Manage logistic requirements. ie carrier management UK/Export/ custom document administration.
- Ensure we follow all internal procedures to meet Company requirements.
As an Administrator you will have the following key skills:
- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Superb team player
- Excellent communication skills and phone manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivated
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
