We are recruiting for a Trainee Supply Chain Planner to join the team of our client who are based in Fleckney, Leicestershire. The role is part of the purchasing department who will hold responsibility for direct spend supply chain planning.

We are looking for someone with a bit of knowledge of the supply chain process, who is keen to kickstart their career in this field.

Key responsibilities for a Trainee Supply Chain Planner

• Direct spend control - creation of purchase orders and associated forecasts
• Ensuring goods are ordered in a timely manner to meet with the requirements of the business
• Supplier relationship management
• Communicating with internal stakeholders
• Dealing with Invoice queries

Experience and skills for a Trainee Supply Chain Planner

• Experience in Word, Excel, Microsoft Suite, and an ERP system
• Experience dealing with external stakeholders
• Anaturalmulti-tasker
• Is trustworthy and takes responsibility for managing deadlines
• Abletolearnquickly
• A full UK driving license
