Are you looking for a new opportunity to develop a career in Local Government? We have an opening for an Administrator to join our client, Buckinghamshire Council.

Job Title – Legal Support Officer
Temporary – Until 24/12/2024 with potential to extend or go permanent
Location – Walton Street, Aylesbury HP20 1UA (fully office based)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Pay Rate - £14.18 per hour
Start Date - ASAP

About the role
As a Legal Support Officer (Administrator), you will provide admin support to Lawyers across all the different areas of law. You will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Undertake a range of routine administrative tasks specific to the service area, prioritising them as directed and working within approved procedures.
  • Creating court bundles
  • Sealing/Docusign
  • Using Case Management System which stores electronic files.
  • Dealing with post
  • Answering general legal telephone calls
  • Greeting visitors to legal services

About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:
  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Good computer skills and communication skills
  • Local Authority experience is beneficial but not necessary

Please note that specific experience in a legal/law capacity is not required as this role is specifically admin related.
