Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend and bank holiday events)

About the Role:

A prestigious motor trade business is seeking a versatile and hands-on Administrator to join their dynamic team, primarily supporting the after-sales and service side of the business. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth, efficient back-office operation that will support the customer experience to maintain their stellar reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Engage in phone and face-to-face conversations with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Service Coordination: Manage service and repair bookings, and relay feedback between mechanics, the Service Manager and customers.
  • Parts Management: Order parts and manage inventory to ensure timely service turnaround time on vehicles.
  • Expectation Management: Set and manage customer expectations regarding lead times and service schedule
  • Creative Involvement: If this is a strength of yours, you may use your creative flair for photography and social media work, contributing to the business's online presence.
  • Event Participation: Attend trade events and motor festivals to support client hospitality and networking efforts.

About you:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with a diverse range of personalities.
  • Admin skills: Confident user of systems, keyboard skills and able to adhere to processes
  • Versatility: An open mind and readiness to take on various tasks as needed in a small business environment.
  • Resilience: The ability to handle different personalities and situations and conversations with professionalism.
  • Energy and Fun: A vibrant personality that brings energy and enthusiasm to the team.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
  • Passion for Motors: A genuine interest in nice cars and motor-sport is highly desirable.

Additional Details:

Flexibility: While the core hours are Monday to Friday, flexibility is required to join the team at seasonal motor events a few times a year, some of which occur on weekends and bank holidays (which you will be paid for).

Location: This role is based on-site; remote working is not an option. The site is conveniently located from M1, A5 around Dunstable area.
