Charity People are delighted to be partnering with a leading global patient-led charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Administrator to join their team on a part-time, temporary basis. The organisation's mission is to raise awareness, provide support to those impacted by FND, and advance research into its prevention, treatment, and recovery.

Job title: Administrator
Working pattern: Part time (25 hours per week). Flexible working pattern available. Could be spread over 3 or 5 days per week.
Duration: Temporary ongoing role for 12 months

Location: Fully remote
Pay: £13.00 per hour plus £1.57 per hour holiday pay

About the role:

As the Administrator, you will play an important role in the day-to-day functioning of this small charity, ensuring smooth operations and supporting trustees and volunteers. Responsibilities will include managing correspondence, such as emails, letters, and phone calls. In addition, maintaining and organising Google Drive folders, files, data input and management of Salesforce CRM database. The role also involves providing logistical support at events (1-2 per year), such as liaising with stakeholders (international, medical experts, providers), suppliers, booking hotels and travel.

There is a small amount of financial administration, such as uploading and coding invoices to the accounting system (Xero) and managing simple data input for donations. Full training will be provided; however, previous experience would be beneficial.

You will also coordinate volunteer activities, overseeing the Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting the volunteer recruitment process (on average for 10 volunteers per year), which involves liaising with interview panel members and managing onboarding process.

Governance support includes providing administrative assistance to the Board of Trustees, distributing meeting agendas, and managing other board-related documentation.

About you:

The ideal person will be passionate about charity's mission and values, with previous administration experience. You will be a self-starter with excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, with experience in Google Drive, Salesforce CRM, Xero, and Moodle LMS being desirable.
