Job Title: Temporary Administrator

Location: West Yorkshire

Employer: Local Authority

Salary: £12 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months with potential to extend

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of remote and office-based work)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Temporary Administrator to join our team at a Local Authority in West Yorkshire. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our administrative functions while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to various departments within the Local Authority.
  • Manage and organize documents, records, and correspondence.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Handle inquiries and provide information to the public and internal staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
