We are looking for a confident individual with excellent administration and communication skills.  To be able to liaise with consultants, therapists, patients and PMI funders/self-funders.  Duties will include inputting data, telephone enquiries and general administrative duties.
For this post you will need to be an excellent communicator, enjoy working as part of a team, be able to use your own initiative and have the ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload.  To have excellent keyboard skills and telephone manner. To have passion for provide quality, inspiring innovation and delivering value to contribute in enabling our patients with mental health illnesses to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatments, regardless of complexity or severity.  
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensure the processes of all patient paperwork and administration, as well as ensuring that all necessary funding is in place for the duration of the individual’s admission.
• Greet new patients as well as their families on or shortly after admission, ensuring that any necessary documentation is completed at this time. As appropriate, collect any self- funding fees and finalise the financial element of the care
• Liaise with consultant and medical secretaries to ensure private medical insurance is in place prior to admission and is maintained through their stay
• Update patient details within Priory systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.
• When no Private Enquiries Team at location, handle external and internal admissions enquiries, directing queries as appropriate and ensuring that all enquires are logged in to the appropriate system  
• Reporting Admissions Manager
• Use a variety of internal systems to ensure that all current patients are funded, and refers any out of funds cases to your Line Manager
• Ensure that all documentation is correctly filed, in order that financial auditors can be satisfied via the efficient recovery of key documents of initial entry
• You will be expected to provide cover and support to the wider team and site as and when needed
• Attending meetings
• Creating daily bed state report

The following skills / attributes would be highly desirable for this role:

  • Administrative / Customer Service background
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills face-to-face, as well as telephone-based
  • Team player
  • Proven verbal communication skills to all levels (including patients, consultants, senior management)
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines
  • IT literate
  • Some experience/knowledge of psychiatric care would be an advantage
  • Confidence to handle highly-charged / emotional situations
