Home Based Locality Social Worker

A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Adults Locality service on a locum basis.

Highlights:

• This is predominantly a home based role where you will only need to complete visits
• The role focuses around working with service users who are receiving support from the Local Authority and ensuring that they are receiving the most appropriate package of care
• You will be joining an established service where the majority of staff are long standing members of the team so the risk of disruption remains low
• The team operate closely with other services and you will be working closely with OT's, Housing and Employment and Health Services

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established adults locality service that offers a high level of autonomy as you will be home based for the majority of the assignment. Visits are still being conducted and the team meets occasionally for team meetings. Although you will be working from home you will have the full support of the manager and wider team with regular supervision and you will also be encouraged to participate in meetings to discuss your cases.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of working with Adults. Due to the nature of the post you will need to be fully vaccinated.
