Adults Social Worker

Blackpool council are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Adults Social Worker to join their community social work team. The role will involve working with adults to identify and understand their support requirements and to meet these in a way that both maximises independence and helps prevent future need.

• Working with adults to identify and understand their support requirements
• Maximising independence and helping prevent future need
• Using person centred approaches
• Working with community and voluntary groups
• Utilising reablement and commissioned services
• Confident and experienced in all Legislative Frameworks associated with Adult Social Care

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience
• Registered with Social Work England
• Experience in all Legislative Frameworks associated with Adult Social Care

• Protected CPD time
• Access to regular formal and informal supervision
• Diverse training packages
• Visible management team
• Induction to support transition into a new role
