Your new company
Working with Hays Healthcare as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will support the service in meeting the needs of service users safely; promoting self-care wherever appropriate and providing high quality clinical consultation and advice. Using clinical expertise, knowledge and skills to provide holistic assessment and high-quality clinical advice, completing the episode of care where possible and facilitating onward referral where necessary to a range of primary and secondary care services within the wider urgent care system.

Your new role
Utilise expertise, skills and knowledge to provide high quality clinical consultation and advice to patients, carers and healthcare professionals that have contacted the service. This includes telephone triage/ advice within evidence-based guidelines and scope of practice.
Interpret and analyse highly complex clinical and non-clinical facts to form an accurate diagnosis and prognoses for a wide range of conditions, and to recommend/ deliver the best course of intervention.
Maintain a high standard of patient-focused care. Maintaining confidentiality in relation to all information governance requirements, ensuring that data is only disclosed in compliance with such.
Plan, manage and complete episodes of care, working in partnership with others and delegating and referring as appropriate to optimise health outcomes and resource use, as well as providing direct support to patients and clients
Excellent communication and professional interaction with callers during clinical assessment and consultation, ability to provide support and care professionally, including during complex or difficult situations.

What you'll need to succeed
- Master's degree in nursing with a specialisation as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner- Registration with relevant professional body (HCPC/NMC/GPhC)- A minimum of 3 modules of Master's level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice or Qualification incorporating extended clinical practice skills (e.g. Emergency Care Practitioner) with extensive experience in clinical practice
-Experience working within Urgent/Emergency Care or other specialities (e.g. paediatrics) in an advanced practice role and telephone triage and remote assessment of patients
