A rare opportunity to play an integral role in the management of a premier family entertainment centre close to the lively city of Liverpool! My client is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working within the leisure, hospitality or retail industry to oversee the entire operation of the children’s play and activity centre.
  
The main responsibilities of the Department Manager are:
  • The management of staff, play equipment and overall indoor play and party facilities.
  • Ensuring that children in the indoor play area are always safe and secure.
  • Ensuring that the equipment and facilities are kept clean and are in accordance with health and safety regulations; and are used in an appropriate way.
  • To ensure the visitor satisfaction of the centre are met or exceeded and respond to customer feedback to continually improve the visitor experience.
  • To plan and assist with events such as birthday parties.
The candidate:
  • 2 years proven management experience in a leisure, hospitality or retail environment
  • First class customer service skills with the drive to go above and beyond for the customer
  • Confident and authoritative with the ability to deal with children, parents and staff
  • First Aid certificate and basic Food & Hygiene certificate are desirable
This is an exciting job in a fast-paced industry which requires the successful individual to take ownership of the centre as if it was their own business. The job-holder must be flexible in their approach as the position requires regular weekend and bank holiday working.
