We're searching for an individual skilled in assembling parts and materials, either manually or using tools, in strict adherence to safety and quality guidelines, as well as work instructions. Additionally, you'll be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.

What you will be doing:
  • Carry out hand riveting and planishing as part of assembly tasks.
  • Conduct Gemcor/riveting processes using automated systems.
  • Execute drilling functions.
  • Complete final finishing and abrading of assemblies.
  • Utilise both hand-operated and pneumatic tools.
  • Ensure all products conform to specific tolerances, customer expectations, and internal benchmarks, including NADCAP and AS9100 standards.
  • Decipher engineering drawings.
  • Adhere rigorously to given work instructions and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment functionality through self-directed maintenance activities.
  • Offer insights into production challenges as they surface.
  • Perform any additional tasks as directed or required.
About You:
  • Previous Assembly operative experience is essential.
  • Basic understanding of lean principles (5S).
  • Able to work to production targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and interpret drawings.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent teamwork ethic.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Flexible.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated individual.
