Are you ready to step into a role where your expertise in Robotics & Automation can make a significant impact? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our clients Aftermarket Readiness team as an Aftermarket Readiness Specialist specializing in Robotics & Automation. This pivotal role will report to the Manager - Technical Training and will play a crucial part in supporting the successful introduction of Automation solutions from an aftermarket perspective within the Global Service & Aftermarket Organization.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Coordinate the process of gathering, evaluating, and enhancing technical information and documentation for Automation projects and products to ensure readiness of technical publications and training packages for HYG & dealer service organizations.
  • Collaborate with EPO/PDC/BTDC to identify RSPL and determine spare part solutions for the responsible products.
  • Act as the primary contact and knowledge base for automated products, providing support to internal, dealer, and supplier personnel.
  • Define and manage service level and warranty agreements with suppliers of Automated systems, overseeing technical aspects of warranty claims and supporting the warranty lab.
  • Work closely with the Product Improvement Engineering Team to enhance product quality.
  • Conduct and organize technical training classes and programs for dealers, customers, and internal staff related to automated systems.
  • Develop troubleshooting guidelines and ensure diagnostic tools are aligned with the global strategy.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in materials handling equipment technology including hydraulics, electrics, electronics diagnostic tools, and automation.
  • Understanding of automation applications and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with aftermarket and service organization practices.
  • Ability to design, support, and deliver training as a subject matter expert.
  • Strong independent work ethic with attention to detail and organization.
  • Willingness and capability to travel as needed.
  • Language proficiency in English and at least one other European language (German preferred).
