The Company

This leading international Legal Professional Services group operating in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, boasts a strong track record of delivering high quality services to a blue-chip portfolio of clients in some of the fastest growing markets in the world. Ongoing expansion has created a new opportunity for an experienced Product Owner or Legal Technology expert, ideally within AI tools to join an Innovation team. This is a creative and innovative role to drive innovation firmwide alongside managing a new GenAI tool, you will upskill and empower colleagues to utilise new products.

Key Responsibilities of the AI Product & Innovation Manager

  • Working with senior stakeholders, external AI experts and internal teams to further and progress a key client innovation product
  • To speak with existing users and early adopters to take on-going, agile feedback on value and delivery, ensuring a strong commercial product roadmap
  • Helping to disseminate the learning and framework from the product to other use cases around the business
  • Drafting and delivering communication both internally and externally about key projects
  • Helping to organise and promote the firm’s internal innovation programme
  • Managing a diverse range of innovation initiatives and projects
  • Being a key driver in the on-going efforts to create an innovation culture
  • Testing and trialling new technologies, running proof of concepts
  • Running workshops with internal groups to display hero stories and collecting further use cases
  • Working with external vendors and tech providers
  • Market research, intelligence building and sharing

Skills & Attributes of the AI Product & Innovation Manager

  • Experience in product development (working with development teams) desirable, ideally with product lifecycle management
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma, Agile and Design Thinking preferable but not essential
  • Must have experience of regularly speaking with and presenting to senior stakeholders and clients, ideally in a legal setting
  • Ability to conduct workshops and be orally persuasive to senior stakeholders
  • Experience selecting and working with external IT solution providers
  • Good knowledge of the legal tech market and start-up/scale up processes
  • Experience in and enthusiasm about change and transformation in law
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio/Mural
