Position Overview:
They are currently seeking a talented AI Systems Engineer to join their fast-paced, dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the robust infrastructure required to power their advanced AI and machine learning workflows. Collaborating closely with their multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to building scalable, resilient, and distributed systems that drive the success of their AI-driven applications.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient code in Python for various components of the AI infrastructure.
- Design and deploy scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions to support AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Develop the AI coordination layer to power millions of agents.
- Optimise system performance and resource utilisation to meet scalability and efficiency goals.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of AI infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that may arise in the AI infrastructure, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and drive projects to completion.
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience with Python programming and strong proficiency in Python development
- Experience with large distributed and/or scalable systems.
- Deep knowledge of distributed and scalable systems, including proficiency with PostgreSQL, Ray, RabbitMQ, and Cassandra.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Desirable: Experience with C/C++, Kubernetes, Large Language Models (LLMs) and blockchain technologies.
