We are working with an established Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit an Air Import Executive.

Overall, Purpose of the Job

Ensuring a good level of communication and service to both overseas agents and customers.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all jobs are booked onto Box Top
• Arrange collection from overseas via approved agents
• Visits to overseas agents / liaise and co-ordinate goods
• Advise on new shipments
• Keep customers always updated on progress
• When pre alert is received - request clearance instructions
• Prep the entries / clear goods and arrange collection via haulier
• Follow instructions
• Process and co-ordinate Road Freight import entries
• Process pre log Import entries / monitor arrival
• Monitor Duty / VAT via GVMS systems Customs Clearance
• Liaise with customer
• Clear out of bonds entries on behalf of Hull office
• Follow instructions / follow process
• Ensure Duty and Taxes have been paid
• Ensure emails are responded and dealt with in a timely manner
• Ensure invoicing is up to date

Qualities

• 5 years + experience
• Fully conversant with CDS Import Declarations

• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Proficient IT skills
• Box Top Experience
• Team player

Monday to Friday either 8am-4.30pm or 9am-5pm
