The role:

24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Air Import Operatorfor a client we are representing in the Hounslow area.

The Job:

• Reporting into the Air Operation Manager you will handle Air import shipments. Liaising with overseas agents & airline handling agents arranging renoms, BI's / handover invoices, T1 discharge, create records ensure customs clearance is completed , bond check and chase invoices.

• Working closely with the warehouse and the Import customer service team and overseas offices.

• Track and Trace shipments, milestone updates, archiving documents.

• You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have an air freight operation experience, able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of import ideally have previous experience of working with cargowise. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a natural and strong communicator with the ability to problem solve and adapt.
