Job Title: Air Tightness and Acoustic Consultant

Location: Luton

Salary: £30,000 per annum, Plus Benefits

The Company:

My client is an Acoustic Consultancy firm based in Luton that specialises in providing a wide range of acoustic services to clients in various sectors. They offer expertise in noise and vibration assessment, sound insulation testing, and acoustic design. They are looking for an Air Tightness and Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team!

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant Air Tightness qualification.
  • Relevant Acoustic qualification.
  • Working knowledge of test regulations and guidelines
  • Commercial awareness of Building Regulation and Construction Industry.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Up to date knowledge of IT software packages.
  • Driving license.

Role responsibilities:

  • Liaising with on-site contacts.
  • Planning and designing test methodologies.
  • Setting up test equipment.
  • Collating and analysing data during testing.
  • Writing reports.
  • Providing remedial guidance when tests fail.
