We are now working with a specialist advisory/ banking firm. They are a not for profit business, focused on advising client cities on achieving net zero and connecting cities to public and private capital.

They are now looking to recruit an Analyst into their London team. The role is suitable for someone with 2 -5 years professional experience 

Specifically:

Advising cities as they develop and implement investment projects aimed at achieving climate neutrality.

This includes assessing financial needs, identifying funding sources, and developing financial strategies aligned with city objectives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders within cities

Develop public and private sector financing for the projects, helping investment discussions, and structure financial transactions to meet investor requirements.

Advise on Financial Strategies

Qualifications Ideally, the successful candidate should have all if not the majority, of the following

Minimum of 2-3 years in a financial role (banking/ private equity/ research)

Preferably financial analysis, project finance, financial transactions and execution, or similar, with a primary focus on sustainable finance highly preferable.

Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, financial structuring, and investment instruments as they apply to sustainability projects.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced, transactional environment.

Specific sectoral project experience in the energy sector

Fluent in French

This could be a great role for a French speaking Analyst/ associate from the project finance or energy team of a major bank.
