Analyst

This is a hybrid role that has responsibilities across operations/middle office + ‘shadow COO’ work.

The back office and middle office remit is outsourced, so the line remit is free of manual responsibilities, instead focused on oversight of what is produced externally and critical analysis of numbers that come into the firm (P&L, NAV etc.).

Project responsibilities form a core component of the remit - the hire should look to automate processes / create new tools to pull data out of the system to provide the investment team with better performance analysis.

The COO will entrust that the hire can handle other important tasks stand-alone, such as to pro-actively call brokers, manage the RPA process etc. + to also be trained in-house to take on a range of tasks from him. The COO suggested that the role would suit an ambitious junior looking to be a HOO in 5yr / COO in 10yrs.

Candidates should have 2-5yrs hedge fund operations / middle office experience. There is a focus on strong academics. Candidates must have advanced tech skills.

Whilst this is an analyst level role, we have assurances that it will pay a six-figure comp package year-one.
