Are you a recent graduate or school leaver with a passion for chemistry? Keen to take your first step into the laboratory? Our client is seeking two motivated individuals to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Within this fast-paced testing laboratory you will undertake a range of analytical tests for fuel samples, working with instrumentation including AA, XRF and UV-Vis. Following full training, you will undertake sample preparation procedures, analysis, reporting of results and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation as required.

Successful candidates will have:

  • An enthusiasm for chemistry and laboratory work
  • The ability to multitask and work confidently within a fast-paced busy environment
  • Excellent communication & team working skills

These positions are offered on a shift basis with a pattern consisting of two day shifts (7am to 7pm), then two night shifts (7pm to 7am), followed by 4 days off. For every 7 rotations of this is an 18-day break, which occurs 5 to 6 times a year. In return you will receive a highly competitive base salary plus a shift allowance of £6,000.
