Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Location: South West Cambridgeshire

Salary: Competitive andDependant on experience

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday

About the role:

We are recruiting for an Analytical Chemist to work in a leading pharmaceutical testing laboratory. Experience in the Pharma industry would be an advantage, but my client would also consider candidates who have worked in other laboratories such as food and environmental testing labs.

Responsibilities of the Analytical Chemist:

  • Carry out analytical testing on pharmaceutical products, according to cGMP standards
  • Carry out quantitative measuring of  compounds in an array of formulations, assisting product development, batch certification and stability testing
  • Follow all working instructions and communicate well within your team and with other departments
  • Document and report all analytical activities and results accurately.

The Analytical Chemist will have the following skills and experience:

  • Be degree qualified in Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Have analytical chemistry knowledge with experience of techniques such HPLC, GC and IC
  • Ideally previous experience of working in a cGMP Laboratory would be preferred, but is not essential
  • Have the desire to learn and develop 
  • Have excellent communication skills
