Application Consultant - Knutsford - INSIDE IR35

Job Title: Absolute Application Resilience Engineer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Knutsford/remote - 2/3 days in the office
IR35 Status: INSIDE

We are recruiting for a Application Consultant with hands on technical experience with Absolute Application Resilience & configuration.

This will be on an initial 6 month contract, working onsite in Knutsford (Cheshire), 2-3 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities
* Architect and engineer Absolute Application Resilience solutions that align with corporate level strategies.
* Create, review and maintain Absolute security solution documentation including documenting & publishing fixes in central knowledge base.
* Work with global teams to provide consistent processes and solutions.
* Competency to lead technical and strategic conversations with respect to Absolute and can advise partners on complex technical deployments and guidance on Application Resilience and Recovery.

Technical Skills & Competencies
* 3 - 4+ years of Industry experience
* Hands on Technical experience with Absolute Application Resilience & configuration
* Experience designing and building high-performance, secure, scalable, observable, supportable, and maintainable backend services.
* Knowledge of Tanium, MS Defender for Endpoint and Zscaler
* Knowledge of Bitlocker agent configuration, logging and health monitoring.
* Experience with multiple cloud technologies (i.e., AWS and Azure)
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills across complex systems.
* Able to articulate complicated processes to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience creating designs for implementation of commercial off the shelf products
* Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
* Experience of dealing with incident, problem, and change management processes.

Desirable:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
* Previous experience in the financial sector
* Demonstrates excellent judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability and supportability.
* Believes in the power of and the need for writing automated tests as part of development."
