Application Security / InfoSec Architect

About the Role:

Eames are proud to be representing a leading insurance firm in central London with a new Application Security InfoSec Architect opportunity. We are seeking a skilled professional to strengthen our security team, focusing on safeguarding applications against emerging threats and enhancing our overall security posture.

Arrangements:

  • Central London
  • 6 Months
  • Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Security Strategies: Formulate and execute robust application security strategies to protect sensitive data.
  • Threat Modelling: Utilise Microsoft STRIDE to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats effectively.
  • Security Solutions Review: Conduct thorough evaluations of existing security measures and propose enhancements.
  • Security Testing: Perform rigorous security testing to discover and remediate vulnerabilities promptly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.

Key Skills:

  • Microsoft STRIDE Threat Modelling
  • .NET Azure Development (Considering Java background)
  • Security Solutions Reviewing
  • Developer Background
  • Security Testing

Ideal Skills:

  • Experience with VeraCode or similar tools for security testing
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security permissions

Certifications:

  • CISSP
  • CSSLP (not essential)
  • Relevant Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer Associate)
