Job Title: Application Support Engineer
Client: Fintech
Salary: Negotiable + Bonuses & Package
Location: London
My client are looking to bring on a Application Support Engineer with prior level 1 and 2 support experience. The candidate will interact with all EMEA teams and provide support for the firms proprietary and external trading applications.
*A decent level of scripting ability is required for this role (Python)
Role (Full job spec available):
- Providing general level 1/2/3 support duties to global teams operating across EMEA
- Automating processes to provide more efficiency
- Provide support to trading groups systems that operate across a multi-platform environment
- Incident management - troubleshooting
- Build out documentation for procedures
- Automate software configuration and work towards flawless change management
Requirements:
- Front office experience, supporting trading systems
- General interest in financial markets
- Good understanding of Equities
- Python
- Tech stack: Linux, SQL, python
- Keen eye for automation!
- Flexibility in schedule : on-call requirements
- A degree in computing or a related field
- A great personality!
