The role

As an Application Support Consultant, you will be an integral part of our clients consulting team, focussed on delivering and maintaining a range of solutions to their clients, combining technical and consultancy skills. You should have a strong technical aptitude and be comfortable working with various software applications, databases, and operating systems. Part of your responsibilities will be to identify and resolve technical issues, requiring excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose problems, analyse issues, and help develop effective solutions.

Typical areas include:

• Installation, customisation & configuration of cloud-based enterprise solutions built upon their products.

• Technical requirements capture & ensuring joint understanding in client workshops

• Managing the workflow of service requests

• Client support to troubleshoot issues with enterprise solutions involving our clients products

• Training and certifying client IT teams in the installation and maintenance of our clients products

Important to success in this role are:

• An interest in deploying & administering client solutions, as well as managing configuration changes.

• Technical ability and an enthusiasm for technical challenges

• A desire and ability to learn quickly and apply complex new technologies

• An ability to communicate technical information in a client-friendly way

• An understanding of the importance of process

• A tendency to seek opportunities for greater automation

• A willingness to learn about technologies including Kubernetes, VMWare & SQL relational DBs
