This is an apprenticeship, if you have completed a degree on project management or something similar, you are overqualified and therefore not eligible for this position.

The role will be based in Midsomer Norton and will predominantly be based here for the first couple months with a 2-3 day office split. Days on site will require travel to the West Thames Valley region around Swindon.

Project Management Apprenticeship

For this Project Management Apprenticeship, you will work closely with the project team and Senior PM to successfully deliver project outputs. You will assist in scheduling, risk management, cost control, stakeholder management, and governance, among others. Strong technical and soft skills are crucial for success in this role.

For this Project Management Apprenticeship, duties typically include:

As part of the apprenticeship, all candidates will be undertaking the Association of Project Management Qualification (APMQ). The APM is the only chartered membership organisation for the project profession, so it is recognised worldwide.

Typical Working Week

For this Project Management Apprenticeship, typical working hours are 40 hours p/w with start time typically between 07:00 & 08:00 inclusive of paid 8 hours at college.

Person Specification

For this Project Managment Apprenticeship, we want a candiate who:

  • Proactive approach, taking pride in their work and taking accountability for decisions.
  • A love of variety in a role and ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to quickly prioritise tasks and the initiative to dive head-first into problem solving
  • No two days are the same on the front line and not every day goes to plan, so you’ll need to be quick on your feet to respond!
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working with multiple teams
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information and effectively communicate this to different team members and audiences
  • Ability to visit different sites and training days
  • Curiosity to learn quickly in a reactive and dynamic working environment.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions to serve our customers and protect the environment
  • Able to understand and follow health and safety protocols

Minimum Requirements

English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 / C or above, or Functional Skills at Level 2 or above.

Must have a full UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle

Desired Requirements

For this Project Managment Apprenticeship, we want a candiate with drive, enthusiasm and a strong interest in project management, with a desire to develop a career in the field.

Key Training/College Information

For this Project Managment Apprenticeship, K10 will enrol you to the Level 4 Associate Project Management course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider.

The apprenticeship duration is 18 months.

Eligibility

To start this apprenticeship, you’ll need to be:

  • Living in England for the last 3 years and have right to work status
  • Not enrolled on any other courses
  • 18+ due to site H&S rules
