About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Collections Team Leader to join our Finance team at our Business Services Centre in Caerphilly. In this role, you will play a key part in maximising cash collections and minimising bad debt, ensuring the financial health of the business.
As Team Leader, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Collections team, monitor performance against KPIs, and drive efficiencies and improvements. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the team meets its targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting the Collections team to optimise performance
Setting clear expectations and communicating key tasks effectively
Implementing robust processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience
Collaborating with DS Smith sites and Finance teams to address credit issues and improve systems for the future
About you
Minimum requirements
Proven experience in a similar leadership role, managing a team towards KPI and target achievement
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Effective communicator, both written and verbal
IT proficient, particularly in Excel
Preferred requirements
SAP experience would be highly beneficial
Proficiency in a European language (Dutch preferred) would be advantageous
