Architectural Technician, Exeter, £35k - £45k

Exciting opportunity to join a small planning and architectural team within the centre of Exeter. A well reputable company is requiring an ambitious qualified experienced Architectural Technician to join them and assist the leading of residential projects, heading up the design and develop the existing role to really make it their own and take it to the next level.

You will find yourself working on and delivering high end residential projects, winning and securing new clients, leading a small time through all stages and working closely with the planning team

Looking for an experienced Architectural Technician that is able to come in and hit the ground running to assist on bespoke residential and commercial projects. You will need to have an excellent technical ability and knowledgeable on building regulations. Preferably be proficient in Vectorworks and Revit.

Role
  • Producing working drawing packages
  • Have an excellent technical ability
  • Up to date on all UK building regulations
  • Liaising with consultants and clients
  • Attending site meetings
  • Measured surveys and site inspections
  • Vectorworks and Revit software skills is preferred but not mandatory
  • AutoCAD skills
  • Excellent communication skills and work well in a team and independently
  • Previous project sector experience on the above required
  • Technical ability and capability to take full responsibility for own workload
  • Relevant Architectural qualification
  • In practice UK based experience essential
