Architectural Technician

Your new company
Excellent opportunity to join a small architectural practice in central Essex who work with a range of clients across the residential, commercial, conservation, listed buildings and education sectors. Due to the high quality of the work the practice produces, much of their business is repeat business or gained by word of mouth. Due to ongoing success, the practice is looking to expand by appointing an additional Architectural Technician to the team.

Your new role
Working alongside the existing team, as the Architectural Technician you will work on a range of projects with many long-standing clients. As part of the role you will work directly with clients to produce working drawing packages, which will include visiting sites when required. You will produce drawings using predominantly AutoCAD, though occasionally you may need to use Revit. You will also get involved with project delivery, which will include coordinating with external consultants, contractors and clients through planning and feasibility through to final delivery.

Role requirements
In order to be successful for this Architectural Technician role, you should have previous experience gained as an Architectural Technician and have strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods. Experience using AutoCAD is essential and Revit is beneficial. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is required. You should live within commutable distance of central Essex.
