The successful Architectural Technician will play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. They will produce exceptional technical drawings and detailed designs, ensure full compliance with UK Building Regulations, liaise confidently with clients and consultants, and provide vital support to the architectural team throughout all project stages.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:
- An HNC/HND or a degree in Architectural Technology
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preparing detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Assisting with planning applications and building regulations submissions
- Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders
- Conducting site visits to oversee project progress
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
