An innovative architectural firm is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their forward-thinking team. Specialising in contemporary design, the firm is known for creating functional, visually striking spaces that redefine modern architecture.
With a primary focus on the Residential sector, projects include renovations, extensions, heritage/listed buildings, new residential developments, and affordable housing. This position is ideal for a professional with foundational experience looking to further develop their expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
This role is open to candidates with up to a few years of industry experience or recent Architectural Technology graduates eager to expand their knowledge and skills in architectural technology.
Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technologist:
- Collaborate on the development of detailed design drawings and plans.
- Assist in preparing construction documents and technical specifications.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project requirements.
- Produce accurate and high-quality architectural drawings.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of building construction methods and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with design tools such as SketchUp Pro, Enscape/CGI visual modelling, AutoCAD, and Revit is preferred (training available for the right candidate).
