Foodservice Account Management opportunity with an innovation focused approach

THE COMPANY:

We are one of the leading distributors of bespoke catering disposables solutions in the UK and are currently seeking to add to our successful sales team.

Operating nationally we currently work with many of the leading hotel groups, restaurant chains, contract caterers and education and healthcare outlets to provide a one stop solution packaging requirements.

We pride ourselves on our innovative and modern approach to the sector and are constantly investing in new product development to assist our catering client based.

We are also a well respected market leader and work closely with many of the leading manufacturers in our industry to consistently provide products of the highest quality.

THE ROLE:

Within this position you will be expected to combine business development with effective account management in order to effectively grow your territory.

Based from home, your journey plan will encompass calls to contract caterers, QSR coffee shops, restaurants and other catering end users across your region.

Due to the bespoke element of our product range, this position is of a consultative nature with the contact level being from head chef/contract catering manager up to buyer level.

You will be targeted on both development of new business and organic growth within accounts, often working closely with our national accounts and NPD teams internally.

THE APPLICANT.

The successful candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a background selling into the catering sector.

  • Experience in selling catering disposables is advantageous although not essential.
  • Candidates with a background in sales to the foodservice sector is preferable.

This may include food, catering disposables or catering equipment.

  • Candidates must have a high activity rate and be equally at proficient at new business development as account management.
  • Candidates may be strong Area sales managers within other industries, with vibrant personalities and target driven approach.
  • Candidates must also be strong, efficient territory managers with the ability to develop relationships at chef level and with the commercial acumen to deal at buyer level.
