Zachary Daniels are recruiting for a regional manager for a charity retailer - this is an exciting role for an established retail regional manager who is either looking for a new challenge or to work somewhere where profits go to a great cause.
You will provide strategic and operational guidance to the charity's trustees and direct and control all retail matters. The charity has ambitious plans for contribution growth across its retail estate so is looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and an eye for commercial opportunities.
The role:
- Recruit, manage and motivate the retail team across the estate whilst leading the team through a programme of challenge and change
- Plan, set and control budgets
- Develop a strategic plan for growing the retail business, including but areas such as warehouse and on-line retailing
- Promote best practice both in retail procedures and charity-specific processes such as gift aid
- Work closely with the Head of Fundraising to identify and promote opportunities to raise the charity's community profile, and with the Head of Finance to increase financial awareness and accountability within the retail team
- Build strong relationships with trustees, volunteers and all other key stakeholders
- Deliver and maintain high standards of customer service and volunteer support across the retail division.
