Area Operation's Manager

Connect2Kent are recruiting exclusively for Kent County Council. We have a amazing opportunity for an Area Operation's Manger to join an Outstanding Local Authority. The contract will be for 6 months.

Are you a transformational leader with a passion for community development and partnership working? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Operations Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will support the delivery and development of the locality model and drive the sustainment of place-based working within our Community Teams. Strong change managerment and culture change skills are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locality Model Development: Lead the delivery and development of the locality model to enhance community engagement and service delivery.
• Partnership Establishment: Forge and maintain strong local partnerships to drive forward transformation and integration efforts.
• Market Shaping: Collaborate with Commissioning to build a comprehensive market picture of the area and influence local market shaping strategies.
• Performance Oversight: Work closely with finance and performance teams to ensure oversight, assurance, and improvement of performance metrics.
• Savings Assurance: Implement strategies to achieve and sustain cost savings without compromising service quality.
• Transformation Leadership: Drive and support the transformation of integration and partnership working within the community.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within community services or public sector.
• Strong understanding of place-based working and community engagement.
• Excellent partnership and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in market shaping and working with commissioning teams.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in performance oversight.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to influence and drive transformational change.
