Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 negotiable depending on exp + end of year team bonus

Benefits: £500 per month car allowance + comprehensive benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Hardwood Timber Products will involve:

• Field sales position selling a range of hardwood timber products
• Majority of your time will be spent selling to a mixed route to market via furniture / cabinets manufacturers, joiners, shop fitters, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers, builders, timber merchants, door manufacturers & end users
• May have a small element of generating specification with architects
• Inheriting an area turning over £300k per month (may spilt this depending on what accounts are passed over)
• 200+ accounts on area
• Great internal sales support

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Hardwood Timber Products with:

• Must have field sales experience in the hardwood timber sector
• Must have sold to a mixed route to market via furniture / cabinets manufacturers, joiners, shop fitters, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers, builders, timber merchants, door manufacturers etc
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and company
• Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technically information
• Computer literate
