Job purpose

To be responsible for the management and development of Independent Sales Accounts across the Southern region of the UK. Managing current and future customer accounts to assure sales volume grows year after year. Identify, engage, plan and develop new regional accounts.

Key accountabilities:

  • Responsible for developing business in the Southern region of the UK e.g. taking on new customer accounts, expanding business opportunities with exisiting customers
  • Deliver sales to an agreed margin and volume based on yearly targets/objectives.
  • Promote and champion the features and benefits of our products.
  • Developing strategies to promote our products.
  • Responsible for making day to day commercial decisions and recommendations for your customer portfolio
  • Assist customers to obtain offers that meet their preferences and effectively manage customer pricing negotiations
  • Form part of the regional team to support, deliver and influence the wider regional commercial strategy.
  • Represent and foster the Company at conferences and trade associations
  • Produce reports and complete other administrative tasks to agreed procedures and timescales
