We are looking for an exceptional candidate with field sales experience who has a passion for food!!

Company

A market leading supplier of bakery products and ingredients to food service, manufacturing and baking industries with over 6000 business customers across the UK, 300 staff and a turnover of £150m.

Area Sales Manager

A field sales role and account management role covering the Manchester area, postcodes M, WN, OL & SK. You can be based anywhere in this territory and must be willing to travel - a company vehicle is provided.

Typically spending 3-4 days per week on the road you will be managing, developing and increasing sales profit contributions with existing and new customers in your area:

  • Establishing and maintaining sound business relationships
  • Over time doubling the customer base from 100-150 independent accounts
  • Advising customers of current and future promotional activity and products launches
  • Pan and execute sales opportunities within new markets
  • To act as an ambassador for the group
  • Dealing with any customer problems in a timely manner

Profile

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Post-graduate sales experience, ideally in a field based role
  • Strong interest in food, particularly in baking!
  • Results orientated with a positive outlook
