Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Asset Finance

About the Area Sales Manager Role

We are working closely with a long-established asset financier who are looking to grow their fantastically performing team. They are looking the bring in an Area Sales Manager….

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will also have to develop strong working relationships with the operations and administration teams. The role will be field based covering area allocated and must be able to demonstrate the ability to organise, manage and deliver your own customer contact strategy.

This is a field-based role, so you will be based from home but will spend a large portion of your time on the road with customers. This role covers an agreed geographical territory.

As Area Sales Manageryour responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Proactively sources sales from within the allocated geographical location either by directly prospecting the existing customer base, sourcing new customers or through dealer introducers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers via telephone, emails, and face to face meetings.
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets, negotiating terms of an agreement and closing sales, gathering market and customer information.
  • Make accurate, rapid quotations and provide customers with the relevant information to close the deal.
  • Attend trade shows and events to develop strong relationships with both suppliers and customers within various sectors.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

  • You have recent experience of the Asset Finance Industry, ideally in a customer facing sales role.
  • You're self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proven track record of meeting, or exceeding KPIs
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
  • You are sales driven with ability to plan and manage own activities and contact strategy.

It is not essential, but it would be great if you:

  • Have the ability to analyse and interpret financial information.
