Role Overview:

Academics is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher for a 1 term supply position, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students, nurturing a love for art and creativity. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact in a short-term role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons to students across various age groups.
  • Develop a curriculum that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular art activities, including art clubs and exhibitions.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and expression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching art in a school setting, preferably within an independent school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for art and education.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
